Our Story

Beder Dairy and Meat was founded in 2006 by Jama Omar Abdille, a trailblazer who dared to revolutionize Somalia’s livestock and dairy industries. At a time when commercial camel farming and urban milk distribution were considered unconventional, Jama’s vision turned a bold idea into a movement.
